Heavy Duty Cleaner Detergent is a highly concentrated, water-based alkaline cleaning and degreasing compound formulated for the removal of heavy grease, oil, dirt, soot, carbonaceous deposits and general industrial contamination from washable hard surfaces.
The product combines alkaline builders, detergents, surfactants, wetting agents, soil-suspending agents and sequestrants to provide rapid penetration and removal of difficult soils. Its high detergency assists in breaking the bond between oily contamination and the substrate, allowing loosened material to be suspended in the cleaning solution and subsequently removed by rinsing.
Heavy Duty Cleaner Detergent is particularly suitable for marine, offshore, workshop, industrial, engineering and general maintenance cleaning, where ordinary detergents are insufficient.
The product is supplied as a concentrated liquid and may be diluted with fresh water according to the degree and type of contamination.
Heavy Duty Cleaner Detergent is a concentrated, water-based heavy-duty alkaline cleaner specially formulated for the removal of industrial oils, heavy grease, waxes, oily deposits and hydrocarbon-based contamination from machinery, equipment and hard surfaces.
The product combines powerful alkaline builders, surfactants, wetting agents, emulsifiers and dispersing agents to penetrate and loosen difficult oily and waxy deposits.
It is particularly effective where contamination consists of thick lubricating grease, petroleum oils, wax residues and aged oily deposits that cannot be effectively removed using ordinary detergents.
The product penetrates beneath oily contamination, loosens its adhesion to the substrate and emulsifies the released oil and grease into the cleaning solution for subsequent removal by rinsing.
For wax and heavy grease removal, the use of warm or hot water is strongly recommended. Increasing the cleaning temperature softens wax and reduces the viscosity of heavy oils and grease, significantly improving penetration and cleaning efficiency.

For Heavy Grease Removal
For thick industrial grease:
Recommended concentration: 10-25%
- Remove excessive free grease mechanically where practical.
- Apply the prepared cleaning solution liberally.
- Allow 10-20 minutes contact time.
- Prevent the cleaning solution from drying on the surface.
- Scrub or agitate the grease deposits.
- Rinse thoroughly, preferably using warm high-pressure water.
- Repeat if necessary for exceptionally heavy deposits.
WAX REMOVAL
For wax, paraffin and wax/oil contamination, temperature is particularly important.
Recommended concentration:
10-25%
Recommended solution temperature:
50-70°C, where the equipment and substrate permit.
Apply the heated cleaning solution directly to the wax-contaminated surface.
Allow approximately 10-20 minutes contact time.
The heat helps soften the wax while the detergent penetrates and disperses the wax/oil contamination.
Agitate with a brush or mechanical cleaning system where practical.
Rinse thoroughly with hot or warm water.
For very thick wax deposits, bulk material should first be removed mechanically before chemical cleaning.
Do not allow melted or softened wax to cool and resolidify before removal or rinsing.
